Elections.

Today is The Day. The day that comes every four years, and is prepared for through an uncountable number of politicians on TV, radio, newspapers and last, but not least, on the street. The winner of the coolest "election cottage" (is that a Swedish concept? or just a very direct translation?) is Feministiskt initiativ (the new feminist party that will get 0.5 - 10 % of the votes depending on who you ask). The ugliest I have seen is the Social Democratic Party's Lunda-cottage... (sorry, no photos, my camera battery was exhausted the other day - don't know what it had been doing while I was asleep).

Anyway, I better walk the two streets away, to the canteen where I used to have lunch when I was in secondary school (and haven't been back to since... nostalgia or horror?) to vote - before it's to late. Scary, but tomorrow Sweden will probably be selling its hospitals, charging fees for in libraries etc.

And if anyone cares to know more, the Aussie newspaper The Age writes about Social Dems under threats in Swedish poll today.

And now, let's talk about the weather. In Australia it's spring and 25 degrees. Here it's autumn and 22 degrees. Well, well.
