Kan man inte prata får man blogga. Nyss åt jag min innehållet i min doggybag från den stora lunchen häromdagen, köttfärsfylld rocoto med ris. Jag som inte äter kött så ofta åt middag till nyheterna, en av dagens stora händelser var att man hittat kilovis med kött på väg att säljas på marknaderna i Arequipa. Det var kött från åsna, hund och lite annat. Uh.
Hittade en text på nätet. Det här visste ni (kanske) inte om Peru:
1. The Pisco is Peruvian (mycket kontroversiellt)

13. In Peru there are more than 50 mountains over 6,000 m.a.s.l.
14. 84 of the 103 ecosystems that exist in the world are in Peru.
15. 4 of the ten cereals that exist in the world are native to Peru.
16. The quinua, maize, cañihua, and kiwicha. The latter has been considered by NASA as an important element in an astronauts diet. (man kan äta quinuagröt. och kiwichaflingor. och quinoasoppa, majsöl...)
17. ANTAMINA, the largest mine in the world, is located in Perus central highlands.
18. Lake Titicaca, shared by Peru and Bolivia, is the highest navigable lake in the world. (märk: största NAVIGERBARA, av stora fartyg, sjön. Många andra stora höghöjdssjöar finns).
21. The Peruvian ocean offers 700 different varieties of fish and 400 varieties of shellfish.
24. MACHU PICCHU is one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. (yadayada)
25. Ceviche (marinated raw fish) is peruvian! (inte om man frågar chilenarna)

Det där med hund etc lät inte så lockande... äter inte kött öht så det är en himla tur att det finns ett antal potatissorter att ta till. ;)

ja potatis för hela slanten kan det ju bli. och ris. åsna står jag över helst.
